Admissions Department: Admissions Clerk (1) – One on call position. The Admission/PBX Clerk is the initial contact most patients have with the hospital. The Admission Clerk performs tasks to support the Business Office such as registration of patients, collection of payments, insurance preauthorization for required surgeries and treatments, and assisting with the PBX system as needed, assuring that phone calls are answered and transferred in a friendly and timely manner. 02/11/08

ER/ICU Department: Registered Nurse (4) – One Part-Time position. Three Fulltime positions. The RN is responsible for coordinating the nursing care of patients in order to provide quality patient care to patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. Wyoming license, 1 year critical experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC/ENPC current or within one year of hire. 10/01/07, 10/22/07 , 05/01/08

Housekeeping Department: Housekeeper (1) – One on-call position. Maintains routine manual cleaning service to the hospital and its outside buildings in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by Riverton Memorial Hospital, Department of Health, JCAHO, and other local community and government agencies. Required to instill a customer-friendly and safety-friendly atmosphere for patients, visitors, and medical staff. High School graduate preferred, experience preferred. 02/27/08

Medical Services Office: Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (1) – One on- call position. The RN/LPN is responsible for carrying out the routine patient care assignments, working in controlled patient care situations, performing established nursing care procedures and engaging in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventative activities in the office setting. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and the multidisciplinary care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. WY license, CPR. 09/13/07

Medical/Surgical Department: Certified Nurses Aide (1) – One part-time position. The CNA is responsible for the administration of basic nursing procedures and/or clerical duties involving the care of hospitalized patients under the direction of the RN or LPN. Duties and assignments parallel with demonstrated competencies. High School diploma, CNA certification, and current CPR required. 01/10/08

Obstetric Department: Registered Nurse (2) One Seasonal Temporary position. One PRN/PerDium position. The registered nurse is responsible for coordinating the nursing care of patients in order to provide quality patient care to patients across the lifespan. The RN is able to function safely and accurately in the newborn nursery, post partum and labor and delivery areas of the Obstetrical department. Holds a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wyoming, CPR card. Is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Fetal Monitoring Principles and Practices. 04/02/08

Respiratory Therapy Department: Respiratory Therapist (1) – One on-call position. The Respiratory Care Practitioner performs all aspects of respiratory care and assessment, electrocardiographic testing, and EEG’s under the supervision of the supervisor of Cardiopulmonary. Graduate of an AMA Accredited program for Respiratory Care. Prefer C.R.T.T. or R.R.T. Current BLS and ACLS required. 04/22/08
